This past weekend we decided to visit Ohiopyle, PA, for the second edition of "Outdoor Arena" due to the beautiful weather that was forecasted. It had been a couple of years since we had made it back here and we were pleased that it was such a perfect day for exploration. On our way there, we had discovered a new coffee shop known as "Fuel Coffee Works" right outside of Ohiopyle. We decided to stop in and were thrilled with the service and quality coffee they had to offer. We then finally made it to our destination. Located on the southern reaches of the Laurel Ridge, Ohiopyle encompasses approximately 20,500 acres of rugged natural beauty and serves as the gateway to the Laurel Highlands. Historically, The first known group of people to inhabit the Ohiopyle area were the Monongahela, a clan of the Mound Builders. We explored through the rugged nature and enjoyed the views of the many waterfalls that naturally dwell in the area. Make sure to take a stop at Ohiopyle this summer to adventure, bike, fish, etc. and appreciate the beauty the area has to offer.
